reader forum WHAT YOU ARE SAYING So many people still need to be convinced of the professionalism of the bodywork profession, and being able to quickly send them the "evidence" through the Internet, it means a lot to me. ABMP, thanks for being there. I've loved you for many, many years. ELAINE C. ASHTON AUBURN, CALIFORNIA Wish I had more time to sit at my computer after a busy day and browse through the digital format. Can't wait to get my real copy in the mail, so I can enjoy it in my real time. PAULA DEAN FREDRICKSBURG, TEXAS EDITOR'S NOTE The editors of Massage & Bodywork would like to clarify that the print edition of the magazine is not being supplanted by the new digital edition. Rather, it is a complement, available on Massageandbodywork. com and ABMP.com. Many readers have opted out of the print edition as a way to save on printing, paper, and ink in an effort to be environmentally conscious. If you would also like to opt-out of the print version, you may do so by e-mailing expectmore@abmp.com. DIGITAL EDITION I think I read about 10 pages of the new digital edition, and it's wonderful. I'm ready to "go green," much to my surprise, as I really love to read a magazine in my hands. But, for holding purposes, there's also plenty other books and novels I need to read. I'll get going and be among the fi rst to drop the paper magazine. Congratulations on this new publication. It's absolutely beautiful. What's more, I can readily send articles to friends instead of having to make paper copies. I'm sure the digital edition saves you money, but I won't be reading it. Why should I click a mouse three or four times (turn page, zoom, scroll, etc.) to enable me to see a small piece of an article I may or may not want to continue reading, when I could be sitting comfortably on my sofa scanning full pages of a print edition? I may be old fashioned, but I see no value in subjecting myself to the frustration of sitting in front of a computer screen and straining my eyes. I do hope this does not mean you will no longer be publishing Massage & Bodywork—an excellent publication I look forward to receiving—and reading in comfort and ease! SUSANNE WRIGHT ORLANDO, FLORIDA I just scanned through the new digital edition of the September/October 2008 Massage & Bodywork magazine. I had to e-mail and let you know I can't wait to get home tonight to get a better look and listen to the inserted video clips. I am always excited to get my magazine in the mail; it gets read from front to back. Way cool. Thanks for such 14 massage & bodywork november/december 2008 a wonderful alternative; it may soon become my favorite lunchtime reading. ALYSSIA A HAWKINS STURGEON, MISSOURI I like the paper copy, but this is fantastic. I love ABMP! TINA UNGER STROUDSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA This is the best ever. Saving trees, ink, and work power. I love it. Kudos to the brain-child of this move. DALE ANNE WRIGHT NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS "To everyone who has been struggling to get by, to get an interview, or to find a place that will give the respect you feel you deserve, don't give up. It will happen." Jayme, Michigan
