Agonist contract (AC) stretching protocol for the right lateral flexor functional group. The client actively moves into left lateral flexion. Contract relax (CR) stretching protocol for the right lateral flexor functional group. The client's neck is stretched into left lateral flexion. The client isometrically contracts toward right lateral flexion against the resistance of the therapist. The therapist augments the stretch. The therapist passively brings the client's neck back to the starting position. The client's neck is moved farther into left lateral flexion.
