Kirsten, a Vermont native, has used massage therapy to manage pain and promote valuable exercise since 1985. Whitney Lowe recently celebrated his 30- year mark in the massage profession and still loves the incredible diversity of this field. As a lifelong student, his bookshelves reflect this diversity of interests, with topics ranging from clinical orthopedics to multimedia learning theory. When not immersed in massage, he actively assists his wife with her work in wild bird rehabilitation. Through the experience of injury and challenge, Cindy Williams found a new path of service to others. Her passion lies in working with elders and people who have experienced trauma and/or chronic pain, and being an educator. Yoga, massage, and meditation are her foundations of inspiration, and her knowledge of the fusion of these studies has given her what she needs to support herself and others. contributors When Ben Benjamin is not traveling across the country teaching therapists how to assess and treat injuries or giving a deposition in a sexual abuse case, he's studying something new, whether it's how to coach organizational teams or a dance he loves called Casino. music inspires you www.sightunes.com 914-312-1686 10 m a s s a g e & b o d y w o r k m a y / j u n e 2 0 1 8
