As massage therapists and bodyworkers, most of us realize we need to take good care of ourselves so we can take good care of our clients. Though we are interested in taking care of ourselves, hardly anybody wants to be an island of self-reliance. I have found that some of the most effective self-care I can do for myself comes from engaging in community. Author note: This will be my last Savvy Self-Care column. It has been a great learning experience to share these ideas with you. I am looking forward to reading what is to come in this column in the future. Please find me in the Mindful Money column.
