Editor's note: Ray Bishop passed away on December 5, 2008, of complications from cancer. Since 1995, he had been a Rolfer and Rolf Movement Practitioner; he was in training to join the Rolf Institute Life Sciences faculty. His work appeared in Massage & Bodywork off and on since 2005. We will miss his attention to detail, tenacity, intelligence, love of language, and distinctive wit. Of course, his Rolfing community also feels the void. Ray continued his Rolfing practice into the last week of his life.
