I am ABMP. Raul Tovar, Westminster, Colorado. Member since 2003. BACKGROUND: I worked in my native Colombia as an industrial engineer. Massage and alternative medicine helped me recover from a sporting injury I suffered there. Intrigued by the work, I began my studies in South America and completed them in the United States. I continue to learn daily from each client and each session. PERSPECTIVE: I tailor each massage and combine techniques to meet the client's needs at the moment. When therapists are committed to deep caring, the client gets precisely the right kind of treatment. BUSINESS GROWTH: Referrals from my clients, working closely with other health professionals, and volunteering in my community have helped my business grow. I am blessed that 80 percent of my clients have already booked the entire year to reserve their favorite days and times. ABMP AND ME: ABMP works for me so I can work better for my clients. The business end is completely covered. My favorite business tool is my personalized website—a great resource for my clients. LAST WORD: The healing art of massage gains renewed respect on a daily basis—thanks to qualified therapists. Comprehensive liability insurance and practice support for massage and bodywork professionals and students. Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals 800-458-2267 • www.abmp.com
