Siena Heights University, in Adrian, Michigan, announced board certifi cation will be valued for 33 of the 120 total credits required to earn a bachelor of applied science degree in massage therapy. "We recognize the hard work that goes into obtaining board certifi cation and hope to further celebrate that achievement by awarding certifi cants with college credit," says Norman Bukwaz, director of the degree program. Running for Research: Boston 2014 The Massage Therapy Foundation (MTF) recently announced the runners for its 2014 Boston Marathon Running for Research Team. The runners are Kathy Laskye (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals), Kristen Lutz (American Massage Therapy Association), and Karen Moers (Massage Envy). The team will raise money and create awareness for the Massage Therapy Foundation. In 2013, the MTF Running for Research Team raised a total of $52,500 through the John Hancock charity bib program.
