Beginning with a small home-based practice as the mother of three young children and growing into a franchisor with over 100 people affi liated with her Green Leaf Massage & Sports Recovery brand, Siravo hopes her path in the bodywork profession can inspire more therapists to dream big. After college, Siravo decided to pursue massage therapy as a career so she could have a fl exible schedule that would allow her to stay home with her family. "After sending our third child to kindergarten, I knew it was time to get to work. This led me to launch Green Leaf in 2010. I began by building a practice in one location, hiring awesome massage therapists, opening our second location, and walking through the franchising process in 2017—all the way to today's business model and growth. This business was a calling in my life, built on integrity, hard work, and a solid rock of faith." While running Green Leaf comes with all the highs and lows of operating a sizable business, Siravo says throughout everything she has "stayed true to the therapeutic aspect of massage with clients' well-being in mind." It's that focus on the client that Siravo believes has been key to her success: "As a massage therapist, it is always rewarding to see healing take place with hands-on work, relieving chronic or acute pain, and being a part of someone's recovery."
