Using Posture to Guide Assessment and Treatment THE POSTURE WINDOW By Yoni Whitten, DC Posture offers us a window through which we are able to glimpse the inner workings of our clients' minds and bodies. When employed properly, this "postural window" allows us to better understand how to meet the specific needs of each client. Among other things, the postural window can direct us to which assessments and techniques are likely to yield the greatest benefit, which area of the body to begin with, and which areas to avoid—and enables us to explain the issues to our clients more effectively so as to engage them in their own healing/recovery.
