FUNCTIONAL ANATOMY Client Homework— Seated Hurdler Stretch 1. Sit with one leg extended out like one half of a "V." 2. Tuck the other leg in without stressing the knee. 3. Sit up tall and bend the waist forward as you exhale. 4. Imagine reaching your chest toward your thighs and keeping the back straight. 5. Take several deep breaths as you gently stretch the inner thigh while reaching toward your toes. 6. Repeat on other side. Palpating the Pes Anserine Group 1. Positioning: client supine with hip externally rotated and knee slightly fl exed. 2. Standing at the client's side facing the thigh, locate the medial tibial and femoral condyles.
