Steve Halpern's Paradigm Shift Healing sound icon Steve Halpern, who has sold approximately 7 million albums through his record label, Inner Peace Music, received a Lifetime Achievement Award on October 17, 2010, from the International Sound Therapy Association. Halpern also celebrated his 35th anniversary in the music business with the release of Paradigm Shift, his 75th studio album. Halpern began recording in 1975 with his debut work Chakra Suite. Keyboard magazine has since called him one of the 30 most infl uential artists of the last three decades. Angie Patrick Receives Humanitarian Award Angie Patrick became the second recipient of the Massage Therapy Foundation/Performance Health Inc.'s Bob King Humanitarian Award. (Bob and Kathie King were the fi rst recipients of this award.) In particular, Patrick was noted for her work in creating Sanctuary, a fundraising event at various conferences featuring bodywork. Patrick, also a reiki practitioner and certifi ed refl exologist, credits the power of touch therapy in saving her daughter as one of the driving forces behind her advocacy. She is the director of massage business development and corporate sales for Massage Warehouse.
