We can help and encourage our clients to have the best possible outcomes. I was lucky to have learned this before I was injured and became the client! Author's note: this article is gratefully dedicated to all the wonderful people who helped me during my rehabilitation, from doctors and physical therapists, to friends and family who kindly contributed counsel, sympathy, food, rides, money, bodywork, and even washed my hair in the kitchen sink (thanks, Maureen!).
