I am ABMP. John Sanders, Mesa, Arizona. Member since 2003. BACKGROUND: I was working as a computer programmer when I enrolled in a massage course and received my license in 1992; I started teaching in 2002. I'm also a butterfly rancher, raising butterflies for release at weddings and other occasions. PERSPECTIVE: Leading by example is the greatest gift I can give my students. I enjoy teaching massage because I observe people of all ages learn and discover a new passion. BUSINESS GROWTH: The quality of my service is the most important element of my success. I treat my clients with respect and deliver a massage that exceeds expectations. And I am still going strong. ABMP AND ME: When I run out of fresh ideas, I know ABMP is there for me with masses of support—a free website, Massage & Bodywork, and tons of newsletter information. ABMP's liability insurance gives me peace of mind. LAST WORD: Always have a vision of where you want to go and who you want to be. Give back, pay it forward, and use your hands doing it. Comprehensive liability insurance and practice support for massage and bodywork professionals and students. Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals 800-458-2267 • www.abmp.com
