According to the US Department of Veterans Aff airs (VA), 228,875 of those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan have been diagnosed with the debilitating condition, and new cases are being recognized every day. 1 Practitioners from a variety of healing modalities feel called to help ease their burden and are increasingly being sought out by individuals, service groups, and the VA itself.
