A progressive degenerative
disorder of the brain causing
memory loss, personality
changes, and eventually
death. Alzheimer's is the most
common type of dementia.

When All Is Forgotten
Intention and presence can be as important to
a massage or bodywork session as the work
given and received. This is no truer than
when clients who have Alzheimer's disease or
dementia are the recipients of your hands-on
work. With these clients who may not know
who you are or why you are there, intention
and presence become everything. Let's look at
this special population of clientele.
