10 m a s s a g e & b o d y wo r k m a rc h /a p r i l 2 0 2 1 Professional multitasker Sasha Chaitow is never happier than when painting. She reads voraciously, relishes challenging projects, and doesn't suffer fools gladly. She mothers a growing menagerie of dogs, cats, and forest creatures, and is a fan of heavy metal, tattoos, and big motorcycles. Lisa Bakewell lives her life with passion and a never-ending quest for knowledge, adventure, and personal challenge. Lisa loves traveling, parenting (two boys, 31 and 22), being a wife (of 30-plus years), and making this world a better place by offering support, encouragement, positive vibes, and— most of all—love. To meet his Massage & Bodywork writing deadlines, Til Luchau locks himself inside his beloved old camper. Sometimes it's still parked in his Boulder-area driveway, but other times in the most gorgeous nearby Rocky Mountain spots he can find. Whitney Lowe has practiced for more than 30 years in the massage profession and still loves the incredible diversity of this field. As a lifelong student, his bookshelves reflect this diversity of interests, with topics ranging from clinical orthopedics to multimedia learning theory. When not immersed in massage, he actively assists his wife with her work in wild bird rehabilitation. Laura Allen has been writing for publication since working on the school yearbook in the 6th grade. She has been a massage therapist and instructor for over 20 years and is the president of sales and marketing at CryoDerm. She is surviving the pandemic by writing, sitting on the front porch playing the harmonica, and listening to music with her husband and her dogs. Teaching and writing about manual therapy and all things concerning the myofascial system are second nature to Dr. Joe Muscolino; he fears it may be first nature. At day's end, he enjoys reading, writing, playing piano, doing Pilates, and relaxing with his wife. CONTRIBUTORS 50 42 90 82 72 64
